Microneedling is a professional skin treatment that uses very fine, sterile needles to create controlled microchannels. This activates the skin’s repair response and may support collagen and elastin remodelling. Treatment depth and technique should be selected for the individual concern and treatment area.
Does microneedling hurt?
Microneedling is generally well tolerated. You may experience mild discomfort, pressure, or a vibrating sensation during treatment. A topical numbing cream may be applied beforehand to help make the procedure more comfortable.
Is microneedling suitable for my skin?

How many microneedling sessions will I need?

What should I expect after treatment?

Does microneedling work for acne scars?
It may soften suitable atrophic acne scars by supporting collagen remodelling. Rolling, boxcar and ice-pick scars do not respond identically, while raised scars need different assessment. Active inflammatory acne is commonly controlled before scar treatment begins.
How much downtime should I expect?
Redness, warmth, tightness, mild swelling, dryness or light flaking may be noticeable for several days. Depth, skin sensitivity and aftercare influence recovery. Clients should leave a sensible buffer before important events.
When will I see results?
You may notice an improvement in your skin’s texture and appearance within a few weeks after treatment. As your skin continues to produce new collagen, results can continue to improve over the following months.
What should I avoid after microneedling?

When can I wear makeup again?

Yes. Professional treatment uses controlled equipment, sterile single-use components, tailored settings and a clinical hygiene process. Home devices raise concerns about sterility, repeated trauma, unsuitable depth and the products applied afterwards.
